Registered Massage Therapy in Downtown Vancouver
Deep tissue, myofascial and trigger-point RMT for desk-bound necks, shoulders and lower backs, at 889 W Pender by the SkyTrain.
Registered massage therapy for people who work downtown. Our RMTs assess first, treat second, and write the progress notes your extended-health plan or ICBC claim expects.
Most of the bodies we see at 889 W Pender belong to office workers. Ten hours at a screen loads the upper traps, shortens the pecs, and parks the lower back in one position all day. Our therapists use deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy and Swedish techniques, chosen for what your body needs on the day, to unwind that pattern rather than just chase the sore spot.
Massage at K-Well sits inside a clinical practice. Our RMTs work alongside acupuncturists under one roof, so a stubborn neck or a post-collision shoulder can be treated with hands-on work and a wider plan at the same address.
We are open Monday to Saturday to 7:30 p.m., so a session can land on a lunch hour or after the last meeting. Direct-billed to most extended health plans and ICBC. See the Downtown clinic.
Built for the
downtown workday.
The strain patterns we see between Burrard and Waterfront are their own thing: long sitting, packed commutes, and city driving. Here is how a session fits around that day, and around a full benefits year.
- 01Desk-bound neck & shoulder tensionThe classic W Pender pattern: tight upper traps and suboccipitals from screen posture, forearm strain from the mouse. We treat the whole chain, not just where it aches.
- 02Commuter & posture strainA crowded SkyTrain, a bag on one shoulder, and a laptop hunch add up to lower-back and mid-back discomfort. Hands-on work plus a stretch or two you will actually do.
- 03Lunch-hour & after-work sessionsOpen to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday, a short walk from most towers in the financial district, so a 45 or 60-minute appointment fits between meetings or after them.
- 04ICBC motor-vehicle recoveryCity commutes mean fender-benders. If you were in a car accident, RMT is part of ICBC recovery, and we handle the direct billing so it stays simple.
- 05Sports & training recoverySeawall runs, gym sessions, weekend leagues. Pre-event flush, post-training mobility, and maintenance work for active downtown patients.
- 06Extended-health, used wellMost downtown professionals carry benefits through work. We direct-bill most plans and can coordinate RMT with acupuncture so your coverage does more.

From first visit
to plan.
We don't surprise you. Every patient gets the same four-beat rhythm, even when the treatment inside it changes session to session.
- 01Brief assessmentWe ask, watch you move, and palpate where it counts. First visits include a short orthopedic check.
- 02Hands on45 or 60 minutes of treatment. We talk pressure early so you don't have to grit your teeth through it.
- 03Homecare1–2 stretches or self-care cues you'll actually do. We text them to you if you want.
- 04Re-checkTwo visits in, we re-test. If something isn't moving, we change the plan or bring in a colleague.

Quietly, slowly,
and on time.
We give each patient real attention and take the treatment seriously. The first appointment includes a consultation and assessment, and every session ends when the work is done rather than when the timer runs out.
One practitioner works with you the whole visit. If you've ever felt rushed through treatment elsewhere, you'll notice the difference within the first ten minutes here.
Honest fees,
no add-ons.
Prices listed are before tax. Most extended health plans can be directly billed for the full amount. ICBC claimants pay little to no out-of-pocket cost.
