Herbal Medicine
Custom-formulated, time-tested, prescribed with care.
Korean herbal medicine, 한약, is the inside half of what we do. Treatments you take home, formulated to your pattern, prepared by partner pharmacies and shipped or dispensed at the clinic.
Acupuncture moves what's already in the body. Herbs add what's missing, or clear what's stuck. For chronic and constitutional patterns, sleep, digestion, hormones, energy, herbal medicine is often where the real shift happens.
Our director and senior practitioners hold Ph.D. and licensed Herbalist credentials in Traditional Korean Medicine. Every prescription is patient-specific. We don't sell pre-made products you could find at a health-food store.

Where herbs
help most.
Rather than focus on a single symptom, we take time to understand your overall condition, digestion, sleep, energy, cycle, stress, temperature, appetite and lifestyle. Based on that assessment, a customized formula may be recommended to support your body's natural balance and recovery. These are the patterns we most often support.
01Women's health & fertility여성 건강 · 난임
Herbal medicine may be considered as part of a personalized care plan for women experiencing menstrual irregularity, PMS, menstrual discomfort, fertility concerns, or those preparing for or undergoing IVF. We read the menstrual cycle as an important reflection of the body's internal balance, assessing cycle regularity, flow, pain patterns, temperature changes, digestion, sleep, stress and overall energy.
02Sleep, stress & anxiety수면 · 스트레스
Sleep and emotional balance are closely connected to the nervous system, digestion, hormones and overall vitality. Under prolonged stress, patients may notice difficulty falling asleep, frequent waking, light sleep, anxious feelings, fatigue or a sense of internal tension. Our goal is to understand the pattern behind the symptoms and support a calmer, more balanced state.
03Digestive health소화기 건강
In traditional East Asian medicine, digestion is considered one of the foundations of overall health. When digestion is weak or irritated, patients may experience bloating, indigestion, poor appetite, a reflux tendency, loose stool, constipation or fatigue after meals. We assess not only digestive symptoms but also stress, eating habits, sleep, body temperature and energy patterns.
04Children's health & growth소아 건강 · 성장
Children's herbal care focuses on supporting healthy development, digestion, appetite, sleep and overall resilience. Each child's constitution and symptoms are carefully assessed before any herbal recommendation is made. Our approach is gentle, personalized, and focused on the child's overall health rather than one symptom in isolation.
05Allergy, skin & immune알레르기 · 피부 · 면역
Allergies and skin concerns often involve more than the surface symptoms. Sleep, digestion, stress, immune response and constitutional patterns may all play a role. We aim to understand why symptoms keep recurring and build a personalized care plan around each patient's pattern.
Every prescription begins with a consultation. Your practitioner reviews your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, current medications or supplements, and treatment goals, and when appropriate, herbal medicine may be recommended as part of your care plan. Because each person's pattern is different, formulas are customized and may be adjusted over time.
From first visit
to plan.
We don't surprise you. Every patient gets the same four-beat rhythm, even when the treatment inside it changes session to session.
- 01Pattern consultation30–45 min with a licensed herbalist. Pulse, tongue, history. We diagnose by pattern, not by symptom alone.
- 02PrescriptionA formula written for you, granules, decoction, or pill form depending on lifestyle. Most courses run 2–4 weeks.
- 03Re-checkWe follow up at 2 weeks and adjust the formula as your body changes.
- 04IntegrationHerbs often pair with acupuncture. We'll tell you when they don't, including with prescription medications.

Quietly, slowly,
and on time.
We take care with each patient. The first treatment includes a consultation and assessment, and appointments end when the work is complete rather than when the timer runs out.
One practitioner, start to finish. If you’ve ever felt rushed through treatment elsewhere, you’ll notice the difference within the first ten minutes here.
Honest fees,
no add-ons.
Prices listed are before tax. Most extended health plans can be directly billed for the full amount. ICBC claimants pay very little out of pocket.
