How many visits are pre-approved?

ICBC pre-approves 12 acupuncture and 12 RMT visits in the first 12 weeks after your collision. Each type of care has its own visits, so you can have both.

What will I pay?

For registered massage therapy, the patient portion per visit for each clinic is listed above. For acupuncture, there is little to no out-of-pocket cost. We confirm any patient portion before your first visit. ICBC does not reimburse patient portions; check whether your extended health plan does.

Your ICBC claim number, your Personal Health Number (on your BC Services Card) and the date of the collision. We bill ICBC directly.

I haven't reported the accident yet. What should I do?

Report it to ICBC first: online any time, or by phone at 604-520-8222 (toll-free 1-800-910-4222), 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. Once you have a claim number, you can book with us.

What happens after 12 weeks?
