RMT — Registered Massage Therapy

마사지 치료

Registered Massage Therapy meets clinical assessment.

Essence · 本

Direct-billed RMT — but not the cookie-cutter relaxation rub. Our therapists assess first, treat second, and write the kind of progress notes your insurer expects.

Massage therapy at K-Well sits inside a clinical practice. Our RMTs work alongside acupuncturists and kinesiologists, so the treatment plan can include hands-on work without losing the bigger picture.

We use deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy, and Swedish techniques — chosen for what your body needs on the day, not by a single school of thought. Direct-billed to most extended health plans and ICBC.

What to expect

From first visit
to plan.

We don't surprise you. Every patient gets the same four-beat rhythm — even when the treatment inside it changes session to session.

  1. 01
    Brief assessment
We ask, watch you move, and palpate where it counts. First visits include a short orthopedic check.
  2. 02
    Hands on
45 or 60 minutes of treatment. We talk pressure early so you don't have to grit your teeth through it.
  3. 03
    Homecare
1–2 stretches or self-care cues you'll actually do. We text them to you if you want.
  4. 04
    Re-check
Two visits in, we re-test. If something isn't moving, we change the plan or bring in a colleague.

How we work

Quietly, slowly,
and on time.

Care is a craft, not a transaction. We care for each patient with depth and genuine attention. The first treatment includes a complimentary consultation and assessment. Appointments end when the work is complete, not when the timer runs out.

One practitioner. One pair of hands. One thread of attention. If you’ve ever felt rushed through treatment elsewhere, you’ll notice the difference within the first ten minutes here.

One practitioner per visit · no rotating handoffs
