Pilates

필라테스

Reformer-based studio sessions. Strength, mobility, movement quality.

Essence · 本

Pilates is what care looks like when you're ready to move. Reformer, tower, and mat — taught one-on-one and in small duets, built to complement your treatment plan, not replace it.

Most patients come to Pilates through us in one of two ways: rehab from an injury, or a goal that hands-on care alone can't reach. Our instructor sits down with your acupuncturist or RMT and the program is built from your file, not a template.

Equipment-based work means we can off-load joints early, then progressively load tissue as you heal. You leave knowing your own body better — what to do when something flares, and what to do when nothing does.

What we treat

Come in for
these

Not an exhaustive list — but the patterns we see most often. If something here sounds like your story, you're in the right room. If it doesn't, ask us anyway — we'll be honest about whether we can help.

What to expect

From first visit
to plan.

We don't surprise you. Every patient gets the same four-beat rhythm — even when the treatment inside it changes session to session.

  1. 01
    Movement assessment
First session includes an assessment of your body. We screen you, you try the equipment, and we agree on what we're working toward.
  2. 02
    Private sessions
1:1 with your instructor. Reformer, tower, and mat — chosen by what your body asked for that week.
  3. 03
    Duets
Once you know the equipment, bring a friend or partner. Same instructor, lower cost, twice the accountability.
  4. 04
    Re-screen at 6 weeks
We retest the things we said we'd improve. Plan adjusts based on what actually changed.

How we work

Quietly, slowly,
and on time.

Care is a craft, not a transaction. We care for each patient with depth and genuine attention. The first treatment includes a complimentary consultation and assessment. Appointments end when the work is complete, not when the timer runs out.

One practitioner. One pair of hands. One thread of attention. If you’ve ever felt rushed through treatment elsewhere, you’ll notice the difference within the first ten minutes here.

One practitioner per visit · no rotating handoffs
Bilingual care — English & 한국어
Direct billing to extended health · ICBC · MSP
