After injuring her leg while squatting, Jihye found relief through massage therapy, which inspired her to become a Registered Massage Therapist. She believes that massage can enhance health, help individuals achieve personal goals, and improve overall well-being.
With three years of experience as a Thai massage body worker, Jihye incorporates techniques like stretching into her practice. Currently, she is studying manual osteopathy at the National Academy of Osteopathy and aims to graduate in 2025. She does not offer osteopathy services at this time, but her commitment to continuous learning ensures she provides the best care for her clients. Jihye creates personalized treatment plans based on full assessments, aiming to improve function, reduce pain, and alleviate stress.
She also provides home care recommendations, including hydrotherapy and therapeutic exercises, to support long-term recovery and overall health. She uses therapeutic techniques such as Myofascial release, Trigger point release, Joint mobilizations, PNF, Swedish, and deep tissue massage. Jihye’s preferred areas of practice include treating sports injuries, temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD), whiplash, pre/post-natal care, neuromuscular pain (e.g. sciatica, carpal tunnel), stress relief, lower back pain, rotator cuff injuries, plantar fasciitis, overuse injuries, postural imbalances, arthritis, spinal cord injuries, and tendinopathy. If you are looking to reduce stress, relieve pain, or improve your well-being, Jihye would love to help. Feel free to reach out and schedule an appointment!
